My perspective is that mental health symptoms are unique to the individual yet have a common identifier: we experience a loss of meaning or pleasure in daily life, with family and at work. We experience distress in our relationship with ourselves and others. We are none of us immune from mental health symptoms. Recovery and healing are realistic and possible. My goal is to support a healing and recovery that extends into a person’s future.
Medication can be very useful in recovery. It has a finite task of helping our brain process information and inform behavior. Due to the finite role of medication, my approach as a mental health provider is to integrate care with a therapist. Optimal healing occurs in a community that is integrated/connected.
It is a privilege to be trusted as a partner in an individual’s path of healing to recovery from illness. Please feel free to call or email us. We welcome any questions you may have.
